Viable alternative for sub-150GWP refrigerants
Sub-40Kw systems fall outside the pending 150GWP threshold outlined in current EU F-Gas regulation. With future uncertainties around both cost and availability for medium GWP HFO-HFC blends, refrigerants like R448a and R449a should be designated as drop-in replacements for existing assets.
Pioneering retailer
Pure Cold are proud to have been the case provider as part of two projects utilising A2L refrigerants (R455a and R454c) with The Central England Co-operative Society and commercialising another alternative system architecture for sub-150GWP DX systems.
Case efficiencies
The Pure Cold range of remote door cases are a global first in sub-1Kw extraction rates for a 3750mm fixture enabling smaller plant selections and subsequent refrigerant charge which equates to the largest display footprint possible to permissible A2L refrigerant charges complying with the application guidelines outlined in EN378
